Support Groups
Our support groups meet at a fixed time, date, and location that is scheduled ahead of time. The support groups are all centred around a common theme.
Support groups are less structured and more open-ended than therapy groups. Support groups provide an opportunity for people “in the same boat” to create a support network. These groups can help people feel less alone with their problems, while also receiving insight from other’s experiences and reflections.
Support groups typically consist of a minimum of 4 participants. All groups must have the minimum number of enrolees to begin. Our support groups are Open groups, which means new members can join at any time.
Our support groups are facilitated by Registered Psychologists, Provisional Psychologists, Canadian Certified Counsellors, Counselling Therapists, group support workers and/or trained group facilitators.
There are no support groups running at this time. Stay tuned for future updates!
