Group Counselling
Our group counselling services involve a group of people meeting with a mental health practitioner in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. All group members meet at a scheduled time, date, and location for a common group topic.
Group counselling typically consists of a minimum of 6 participants. All groups must have the minimum number of enrolees to begin. Group counselling is available as part of the general counselling and mandated counselling services.
Groups are offered in open group and closed group formats. Open groups are groups in which new members can join at any time. Closed groups are groups where all members start the group at the same time.
Our group counselling services are provided by Registered Psychologists, Provisional Psychologists, Canadian Certified Counsellors, and Counselling Therapists.

After the intake session, you and your mental health practitioner will review the time frequency, duration, and number of sessions in the group; as well as the group format (open or closed). Future sessions will all be apart of the group at pre-scheduled times and dates.
